Complete Dental Examination
At Cooper Dental Arts Center, your initial oral exam includes a careful and complete review of the health and integrity of not only your teeth, but the soft tissue surrounding your teeth, and also the bony and temporal mandibular joint structures of the jaw. Digital x-rays are an important component of your complete exam and diagnosis.
The condition of your oral tissues and the structure of your jaw can indicate systemic health concerns beyond the oral cavity, which we would refer to your personal physician. The “base-line” information from your initial exam becomes part of your permanent record and serves as valuable information for future routine examinations. Our intra-oral camera system allows us to share information about your oral health with you in a way that is easy to see and understand.
