Soft tissue laser treatment allows our dentists and hygienists to provide you with a modern alternative to previous tissue modification procedures. Gum tissues treated with the laser heal much more quickly, predictably, and comfortably than with previous treatment methods.

With the laser, we can sculpt, recontour, or reposition gum tissue for either functional or esthetic needs. The soft tissue laser effectively stabilizes tissue so that your dental procedure can continue without interruption. It sterilizes the area so that your healing can begin immediately. Your gum tissue level can be easily and comfortably modified to help access decay on root surfaces, or to balance uneven tissue levels and enhance the look of your smile. The diode laser can also be used for removal and quicker healing of Apthous/Herpetic/Canker lesions, saving the patient weeks of pain and discomfort.

Periodontal hygiene procedures can also be enhanced with the diode soft tissue laser. Deep periodontal pockets can be sterilized with the laser after cleaning to aid in response to therapy. Minor muscle attachments (frenum) can be easily relieved so that the chance of future gum recession is lessened.
